Position: Technical Editor

Duties: To organize the music selection of the magazine’s first CD compilation; to assist in design layout and implementation; and to assist in the marketing of the magazine through event-planning.

Position: Student Staff Writer for Development

Duties: To write the monthly Alumni newsletter; to design a hardcopy version of the Alumni newsletter; and to construct End-of-Year “Ask” letters, as well as other writing tasks upon request.

Position: English Department Intern

Duties: To liaison between professors and students; to build the CCU Writing Lab website; to manage the department website; to search out literary events for students to participate; to develop flyers and notify students of upcoming events; to administer exams; to managerially assist professors; to encourage student/professor community within the department; and to organize monthly dinners, as well as other writing tasks upon request.

Position: Phone-a-thon Worker

Duties: To call alumni to update personal information, to request financial donations, and to inform of current school events.

HCJB GLOBAL (2007, June–August)

Position: Staff Writer Intern

Duties: To write press releases; to interview internal and international partners for feature articles; to redesign and write for fundraising fact sheets; to assist the launch of an intranet website; to sit on the organization’s stylebook committee; to write the organization’s first email “ask” in its 75 year history; to provide a slideshow for the 2007 Annual Members Meeting; and to co-script a video.
